Bicycle travelling

Bicycle tours are fun. For me, the best time of year is when in spring the first flower buds sprout from the still frozen earth and the sun’s rays begin warming the ground slightly. Nothing will keep me at home then. I long for the moment when I can get onto my bike. I grab my camera and off I go! Of course, taking pictures and videos is part of my various activities. After all, the wonderful images should be captured. When my memory sticks are full, I copy them onto 8cm CDs with a small „travel burning rom“ and send them home along with video recordings. This practical copier by Sony is called "Photo-Vault-Burn&Play"; it is only 11 x 12 x 3 cm and easy to handle.

With a connecting cable, pictures and videos from CD can be watched on the camera. Photo-Vault
Bicycle tours, even when short, stimulate the feeling of adventure, but they’re also good if I need a rest. With my bike, I am independent yet environmentally friendly. Additionally, I am doing my body good.

If I like a region, I look for a nice, quiet spot, enjoy nature and capture it
with my camera.

Thus my soul can sing,
not forcing
to be quiet.
What eyes saw suddenly
I understood deeply
and I soak it all in.
Suddenly this seems to be a song.
